Description

Joseph Fussell was Graceanna Lewis' cousin. Fussell expresses his belief that antislavery "cannot breath in towns and villages" because they are "moral plague spots"; he would prefer to hold the convention out in "free air" of the country. He recounts the horrors of slavery and encourages Lewis to join him at an antislavery meeting in Norristown where the Society for Inquiry and Reform will also be meeting. He closes with a discussion of communities and the ethics of buying land.
